Hi Jasper,

Nice tool as far as I can explore it. If I click on something to get more details about the method I get an error message. And I can't seem to add my personal method yet. Nevertheless, quite interesting :-)

Well, I think science is indeed about collaboration, but I guess it has also always been about competition. About publishing first, etc. I'm not a fan per se of this type of popularity contest, but in the case of our tool it gives us an opportunity to show that we're in touch with practitioners. If you want to gage what resonates with a larger public, or with practitioners, such a contest makes sense. The Delft Innovation award is about knowledge 'valorization' (which is not an actual English word, but at TU Delft means as much as creating value out of knowledge, knowledge transfer (to practice).

Interesting tool. The prototype is already a nice way of looking through the different methods!

But how do you feel about this 'Delft's next top project' system? I always thought science was supposed to be about collaboration, not competition, and debate, not popularity contests...
